Q. What is Wizman?

In simple terms, Wizman allows you to completely personalise your mobile content. So, what's the point of being able to choose your content? Most mobile networks make that decision for you - and even if you don't want the content that they offer, there's no way you can change it. Wizman allows you to specify exactly which WAP sites you want to access through your home page, so that whenever you use your WAP enabled device, you can access your very own personally chosen content. What's more, you can create, access and edit your personal content details (or favourites) via any device that has internet access - so you can build your WAP favourites list on your PC rather than on your phone, saving you time and money. You can also use your personal content list whilst browsing the Internet on your PC, because Wizman also allows you to create a list of web favourites. To make your life even easier, Wizman also gives you a free email account that you can use on your phone or via the Wizman website.

If you use a WAP device, having a Wizman web-based WAP favourites list is the simplest and easiest way to ensure that you get WAP you want, when you want!. And keeping your content up-to-date couldn't be easier - your list can be managed and updated via the Wizman website from any PC or Internet device. No need to spend hours keying addresses in on your phone. Your chosen content will be displayed when you dial into the mobile internet via Wizman.

Q. How do I set up my username and password?

To use Wizman you need a username and password. To get a username and password you need to sign up with Wizman. You can do this by clicking the 'Join Now' button on the home page. Simply complete the simple registration form and Wizman is ready to be personalised.

Q. How do I use Wizman with my WAP phone?

Wizman is the ideal way to optimise your time spent online on your WAP phone. Although you can set up 'bookmarks' (favourites) on your WAP phone by using the numerical keypad, this is a time consuming method of compiling a WAP favourites list. Wizman removes all the hassle, by allowing you to access your WAP favourites via the Wizman WAP site.

By making Wizman your homepage, you will have access to your favourites list as soon as you launch your WAP browser. Simply log in to access your own personal content.

Q. If I'm not already a Wizman user, how do I make Wizman my homepage on my WAP phone?

If you are a Nokia or Ericsson user, you will receive settings for your phone when you join Wizman. If you use another type of phone you need to click on 'Phone setup' in the top menu bar. Once inside the 'Phone setup' section, you'll find easy-to-follow, step by step instructions for your particular phone model.

Q. How do I use Wizman on a PC?

As soon as you launch your Internet browser, go to the Wizman home page www.Wizman.com. In order to access your own personal favourites, you need to login with your chosen username and password. Once you have logged in, you will see your own personal list of web and WAP favourites. You can keep Wizman open throughout your time online so that you have constant, easy access to your web favourites, whilst you are browsing. You can also quickly and easily add any interesting WAP URLs to your WAP favourites. Just minimise the browser window containing Wizman, open a new window and browse away!

To make life as simple as possible, make Wizman your home page on all the PCs that you regularly use ie. at work and at home. This means that each time you launch your web browser, the Wizman page will be automatically displayed.

Q. How do I use my WAP favourites list?

Once you have logged into Wizman, you're ready to start compiling your personalised list of WAP sites. As a first-time user you will see a box called WAP favourites, with entry boxes for 'Name of site' and 'WAP'. You can use these entry boxes to enter details of any WAP site that you want to include in your favourites list. Simply click the 'Add' button once you have typed in the name and WAP URL of the site. Alternatively, you can use the Wizman Categories directory to build your WAP favourites list. You can also quickly delete entries that you no longer wish to use by clicking the 'Delete' button.

Q. How do I use the Wizman Categories?

For your convenience, we've handpicked some of the best WAP sites available. In the box called 'Wizman Categories' you will see 9 categories that you can choose from. Within each category you'll find a list of Wizman recommended sites, along with a critique of each site. When you find a WAP site that you like the sound of, simply click the 'Add' button next to your chosen site. The site will automatically be added to your favourites list. If you no longer wish to include a site in your WAP favourites list, click the 'Delete' button next to the relevant entry.

We will be constantly updating and expanding our WAP directory, so use it regularly to check out new sites.

Q. How do I make a web favourites list?

Click on 'Web' in the menu bar. To add a favourite website enter the name of the website and then type in the address of the site eg. www.wizman.com. Then click 'Add'. You can easily delete favourites by clicking the 'Delete' button.

Q. How do I use my free email account?

To use your email account, click on 'email' on the top menu bar. You'll find a full list of features in the 'help' section of Wizman email. You can read and send your emails using both a PC and a WAP phone.
